What we handle

Document pre-check, coordination for delivery to an approved recycling/dismantling center, obtaining the Certificate of Destruction (or export certificate), and completing deregistration with the competent authority.

When it’s needed

Final withdrawal/destruction due to age, immobilization, damage or uneconomical repair — or due to export abroad. Permanent deregistration is different from temporary immobilization (plate surrender).

Timeline & cost

Depends on location, recycling center availability, and file completeness. We’ll send a tailored quote after the pre-check.

Indicative documents

Basic

  • Vehicle registration & plates (if available).
  • Owner’s ID/passport & tax number (AFM).
  • Vehicle details (VIN/chassis, plate, category).

Recycling center

  • Delivery of the vehicle to an approved recycling/dismantling center.
  • Certificate of Destruction (CoD).
  • Authorization for delivery/collection of documents, where needed.

Case-specific

  • Loss declaration for registration/plates, if missing.
  • Company documents for corporate vehicles.
  • Clearing pending issues (e.g., lien release) before deregistration.

The final checklist is determined by the competent authority and the recycling center.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to deliver the vehicle?

Yes. For permanent deregistration, delivery to an approved recycling center and issuance of a CoD is required.

What if I don’t have the registration or plates?

A loss declaration/affidavit is filed and the prescribed process is followed. We’ll guide you with the required forms.

There’s an outstanding lien?

The lien must be released first; then we proceed with deregistration.
