The vehicle to be imported must have a Certificate of Conformity (COC) according to EU directives.
If you do not have a COC, let us know so we can tell you alternatives or additional documents.
For vehicles that have been imported from abroad and do not yet have a Greek registration / plates. We handle file check, transfer to the buyer and guidance for the next steps.
The vehicle has arrived in Greece and a Greek registration/plates have not yet been issued.
The actual holder/importer wants to transfer it to another individual/legal entity before issuing a Greek registration.
Some documents are missing (customs, origin, translation, conformity) and a check & completion is needed.
Each case is evaluated separately, depending on the country of origin, the vehicle type (car, motorcycle) and the stage it is currently at.
For many imported vehicles you will need official translations of foreign documents and legalization (Apostille or consular). We will tell you exactly which ones.
You send us all available documents (photo/scan). We check if it can be transferred now or if another step must come first.
We give you a list of what is missing (customs, translations, declarations, authorizations) and we prepare the forms.
We finalize buyer/seller data, submit where required and monitor the case until it is completed.
If the vehicle came to Greece through another person/company, we need their documents and possibly an authorization.
Most of them must be officially translated and, depending on the country, legalized.
It depends on whether customs are settled and whether the file is complete. We send a detailed quote once we review it.
To make it fast, send us in 1 email all the documents you have, even if they are in another language.
